Writing Good Definitions
Be clear and concise
Explain the meaning in simple terms. Avoid overly complex language or unnecessary words.
Include context
Mention where or how the word is typically used (e.g., "common among college students" or "used in Kathmandu").
Add an example sentence
Show how the word is used in a real conversation. This helps others understand the proper usage.
Be accurate
Only define words you've actually heard or used. Don't guess at meanings.

About Explicit Content
We understand that slang often includes crude or explicit language. If you're submitting a word that's vulgar or NSFW (not safe for work), please mark it as such during submission.
NSFW words will be hidden by default and only shown to users who choose to view them. This helps keep NepBoli accessible while still documenting the full range of Nepali expression.
Moderation Process
All submissions are reviewed before being published. This helps us maintain quality and ensure content follows our guidelines. The review process typically takes 24-48 hours.
If your submission is rejected, it may be because it didn't meet our guidelines or a similar entry already exists. Feel free to try again with a different word or improved definition.
